Brut Reynolds was born on February 11, 1936 in Lansing, Michigan. His father Burton Milo Reynolds Sr. was a police man and her mother was Fern H. Reynolds. Reynolds did his high school studies from Palm Beach High School and to study further he went to Florida State University. In his teenage he wanted to become a footballer. But the injuries he got in a car accident ended his hopes in football career. Then he took part in a drama in Lake Worth and he won Florida State Drama Award for his play.
